Shockwave therapy, also known as extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT), is a non-invasive treatment that uses acoustic waves to treat various medical conditions. These shockwaves are high-energy sound waves that can be focused on specific areas of the body to promote healing, reduce pain, and improve mobility.Radial shockwave therapy (RSWT) is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-energy shockwaves to treat various musculoskeletal conditions. It is commonly used for the following conditions:

1. Plantar Fasciitis: Inflammation of the plantar fascia, a thick band of tissue running across the bottom of the foot.
2. Achilles Tendinopathy: Chronic pain and inflammation of the Achilles tendon.
3. Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis): Pain and inflammation of the tendons on the outside of the elbow.
4. Golfer’s Elbow (Medial Epicondylitis): Pain and inflammation of the tendons on the inside of the elbow.
5. Patellar Tendinopathy (Jumper’s Knee): Pain and inflammation of the patellar tendon, commonly seen in athletes.
6. Rotator Cuff Tendinopathy: Chronic pain and inflammation of the tendons in the shoulder.
7. Calcific Tendinitis: Calcium deposits in the tendons, often in the shoulder.
8. Hip Pain (Trochanteric Bursitis): Inflammation of the bursa near the hip joint.
9. Shin Splints (Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome): Pain along the shin bone (tibia) often experienced by runners.
10. Trigger Points: Tight areas within muscles that cause pain in other parts of the body.
11. Heel Spurs: Calcium deposits causing a bony protrusion on the underside of the heel bone.
12. Chronic Muscular Pain: Persistent muscle pain in various parts of the body.
13. Myofascial Pain Syndrome: Chronic pain disorder caused by sensitivity and tightness in the myofascial tissues.

RSWT promotes healing by stimulating blood flow, reducing inflammation, and breaking down scar tissue and calcifications. It is typically used when other conservative treatments have failed to provide relief.
